Traveling from Batumi to Tbilisi you have the following options:
- minibus, overnight train (from Makhinjauri just outside Batumi)
Border
Between Russia and Georgia there is no open border for foreigners.

transport from Batumi to Tbilisi can be done by train, marshrutka or bus. Marshrutkas are the most frequent and quickest way. Please note the busses and marshrutkas terminate at the Didube bus station in the northwestern section of Tbilisi.
