Five missing
A Cambodian-flagged cargo ship sunk off Turkey's Black Sea coast Wednesday, leaving five crew members missing, officials said.

Two escaped
Two crew members managed to escape on a lifeboat as the "Alaska" went down off the Black Sea port city of Trabzon, said Engin Kirpikci, head of the Trabzon port.

Rough
"The sea is rough but the cause of the accident is not clear yet," Kirpikci said.

Kirpikci said the coast guard was searching for the missing crew members. The nationality of the crew members was not known.

Fruit
The ship was carrying fruit from Trabzon to Russia, the Anatolia news agency reported.
