Still searching
Rescuers continued searching the Black Sea off Ukraine"s Crimean coast for a Tunisian cargo vessel missing since Monday, an emergency official said late Thursday.

Three Ukrainian ships, one Russian ship, one Turkish ship and a Russian plane from the Black Sea fleet are searching for the missing vessel.

Not much hope
The Ukrainian navy picked up a distress signal Thursday morning from the Tunisian dry cargo vessel Amira-1 and found the radio transmitter some 100 kilometers (60 miles) south of the Crimean cape of Sarych, but the ship and its 24-member crew remain missing, according to Emergency Ministry spokesman Ihor Krol.

Rescuers have had not further contact with the ship.

Kerch-Gerze trip
The Amira-1 left the Crimean port of Kerch on Monday, headed for the Turkish port of Gerze.

Details of the Amira-1"s cargo were not known.
