Vadim Tudor
Greater Romania Party Chairman Corneliu Vadim Tudor said on 13 December that he believes the capital of a united Europe should be in Rome and that its "supreme chief" should be the pope, whom he called "the one and single moral authority capable of leading that Europe of different nations without serving the interests of a single country or of a group of states."

No Orthodox views anymore
Tudor, whose parents were neo-Protestant, usually expresses fundamentalist nationalist Romanian Orthodox views, but last week he pledged to tone down his own political discourse in order to improve the country's international image.
