Today Georgian and Russian Border Guard Department officials signed a protocol considering joint measure to increase security at the Russian-Georgina border.
Korneli Salia, Acting Chief of the Georgian Border Guard Department Staff and Valeri Putov, Commander of Russia's North Caucasian Border Guard Department signed the protocol in Georgian capital.

Korneli Salia told the reporters that eight issues were discussed during the talks in Tbilisi, including joint exercises of the border guards, exchange of information and plan of cooperation in 2003. |
